ABOUT
I attribute my passion of painting to my parents who were both artists. My grandmother and my mother were both porcelain artists. In my twenties I decided to continue the tradition and become a third generation porcelain artist. I found painting exhilarating and yet so relaxing! I immediately joined the Ontario Porcelain Artists Guild. Around the same time I began painting en pleine air with my dad, a watercolour and commercial artist, and have been painting on something ever since!
I uprooted from downtown Toronto to the Sunshine Coast of B.C. where I joined an art group and started taking my art practice more seriously. I moved over to Victoria, to attend the Victoria College of Art, graduating after 3 intense years of painting. I like to work in acrylics, collage, ink and watercolours. My work is as varied as the B.C. weather from large abstracts, to bold florals and delicate detailed drawings.
